I love you because...

This was such a cute idea that Sara fell in love with. I made the image in photoshop, printed it then put the image in a frame and every morning I write something new (with a dry erase marker) on the glass of the frame before I wake her up. It's been a good motivator to get her up in the mornings.

Rick Rack Rosettes

I found a fun tutorial at Crafting Chicks for rick rack rosettes. I turned my rosettes into hair clips.

Pillows and Drapes

I've been working on redecorating the front room at the new house. I painted the walls blue and white (they used to be dark red), bought a new couch and made some throw pillows and drapes.

Here's a close-up of the rosettes (I was so proud of myself).

My Sweethearts and Why I'm lucky

Here is a fun little wood craft I made for Valentine's Day. It is made from a 2x4. I Cut 4 squares 3 1/2 inches long and one length 7 inches long. Then I modge podged scrapbook paper on the fronts and tops. To get the lettering, I used Microsoft word and I just ran some scrapbook paper thru the printer.
I'm a big fan of duel holiday crafts, so I did a St. Patrick's Day theme on the backside.
