I've had this Easter craft on my to-do list for a while. I finally got around to it earlier this week. I started by cutting blocks out of scrap wood, different heights and widths. I printed the egg letters on scrapbook paper, then modge podged them on the wood blocks and later glued on some ribbon. For the egg I used scrapbook paper, ribbon and some chipboard letters.

Aprons
This is one of my favorite apron patterns from the book "A is for Apron". The original was made from the most adorable vintage cupcake fabric. My favorite part is the ball-fridge! (you may have to click on the pic to see it)
I love to wear this apron on Sundays when I'm in my dress and heels. It makes me feel like the perfect 50's housewife.
I couldn't resist making one for Serenity too.

Another Apron
I love making aprons! Here's my newest. I used a pattern from "A is for Apron", I have this book and I love it. All the patterns are vintage - lots of fun!

Stockings
A Valentine Stocking for Serenity "Jane"
We have a family tradition of filling Valentine Stockings with treats and love notes. I pulled out the stockings this year and realized that we didn't have one for Serenity. I opted to use her middle name because her first name was too long to fit across the top. She loves to call her dad (Shane) "Shanie-poo" and whenever she does we call her "Janie-poo" (her middle name is Jane).

a shelf for Jared
A year and a half ago when we painted Jared's room I had plans to build a shelf too. Here it is, finally finished.
